How To Date an Egg(On second thought, perhaps I should rephrase that.)
How To Make Sure an Egg Is FreshYou may have found yourself in the situation of having part of a carton of eggs left which is past its sell-by date. Perhaps, if you're
really like me, several days past its sell-by date. What to do? Bite the bullet and cast the eggs into the garbage, or take the risk of cooking them and finding them unusable?
Simple solution. Take a deep glass of water and gently drop the eggs into it. If they sink, they're fresh; if they float, don't use them. It worked for me today.
