If you want to see the current report (for April 9) on SARS statistics from WHO, go
here. Currently 2722 probable cases have been reported worldwide with 106 deaths. Two weeks ago the statistics were 1323 cases worldwide with 49 deaths. SARS continues to spread, but it is not growing exponentially at this point. Hopefully the quarantines and respiratory precautions will limit its reach. Unfortunately, it's too late for Hong Kong to benefit much from this.
